Restaurant Overview

Description

Donovan’s has served Norwalk since 1889. Jeremiah Donovan ran this saloon. He later became mayor of Norwalk. Boxing champ Battling Bat Kunz owned it for decades, too. Vintage prizefighter photos still line the walls. Richie Ball restored the space in 1979. He brought back its Victorian charm. Today, Donovan anchors the SoNo neighborhood. Locals come for the award-winning chowder. Pub classics and cold drinks round out every visit.
